Job Overview
We are seeking a FULL TIME detail-oriented individual with a solid pharmacy background to support our team IN PERSON! This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of drug names and classes, pharmacy systems like Prime Rx, and the ability to interpret insurance BIN/Group/PCN numbers accurately.
As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in helping patients get the medications they need by making insurance and pharmacy processes smoother and more efficient.
What We’re Looking For:
- In-depth knowledge of medications (brand and generic), drug classes, and common uses.
- Ability to read and identify insurance plans using BIN, Group, PCN, and Member ID information.
- Proficiency in Prime Rx system and general comfort with computers and digital workflows.
- Experience with or willingness to assist in managing prior authorizations for medications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills when working with patients and healthcare providers over the phone.
Duties:
- Verify and interpret patient insurance details over the phone and within our system.
- Use pharmacy software systems (such as Prime Rx) to manage and document patient interactions efficiently.
- Manage prior authorizations for medications.
- Provide high-level patient service by answering questions and offering support related to medications and pharmacy services
We do offer paid training however, prior expertise is necessary to ensure that patients receive timely access to treatments while adhering to insurance guidelines and regulations.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
