Responsibilities
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and personalized insurance solutions.
- Conduct thorough client needs analysis to recommend suitable insurance products such as health, life, property, casualty, or commercial policies.
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to insurance regulations.
- Manage sales administration tasks efficiently using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track leads, quotes, and policy details.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and product updates related to health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, and benefits administration.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client communication, policy issuance, and claims support.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the insurance industry or related fields.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse client populations effectively.
- Knowledge of insurance products including health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, and commercial insurance.
- Familiarity with insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements across different regions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems for sales tracking and client management.
- Excellent customer relationship building skills coupled with outstanding customer service capabilities.
- Analysis skills to assess client needs accurately and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Experience in benefits administration or health insurance knowledge is a plus.
