Ability to work successfully with students, staff, administrators and community members

Responsibilities
The Drama Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing school theatrical productions while fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for student performers and crew members.
Direct and produce school theater productions
Select appropriate scripts that align with school values and student engagement
Organize and lead auditions, casting, and rehearsals
Collaborate with staff, students, and volunteers on set design, costumes, lighting, and sound
Supervise students during rehearsals and performances, ensuring safety and professionalism
Manage production timelines, communication, and logistics
Promote student participation and build enthusiasm for the drama program
Work within an established budget and coordinate fundraising if needed
Maintain clear communication with administration, families, and participants
