Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring excellent guest relations. This role is essential in providing outstanding customer service and maintaining the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating charts efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Able to buss tables
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, is a plus.
- Previous experience in restaurant settings is preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest services best practices.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others.
