Doggie Daycare Associate (Part-Time)
Pay: $10.00 per hour
Start Date: August 2026
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday
- Shifts:
- 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Some weekend hours required on occasion
Hours:
- Starting at approximately 5–10 hours per week
- Expected to increase to 10–25 hours per week beginning in December
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and positive Doggie Daycare Associate to join our team. This position involves caring for dogs in a daycare environment while maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere for both pets and their owners. The position will begin in August 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor groups of up to 14 dogs independently
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care
- Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as needed
- Clean up pet waste promptly throughout the day
- Perform daily deep-cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized facility
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients
- Follow all daycare procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be dependable and consistently arrive on time
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable handling multiple dogs at one time
- Previous dog-handling experience preferred (professional experience preferred; personal pet ownership alone does not qualify)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and cleaning throughout the shift
