Job Summary: The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the contract/purchase order requirements of multiple projects at once. Working directly with project managers, subcontractors, and customers in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep accurate records and maintain job files.
- Work directly with project managers, subcontractors, and customers in a professional manner.
- Review contracts and alert project managers or any discrepancies between contract and proposal.
- Maintain job budgets and research any errors for corrections.
- Create timely invoices for customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Accounting or other business degree is preferred.
- Two years or more of construction contract administration experience is required.
- Experience with government construction contracts preferred.
- Prior experience using JD Edwards Enterprise 1 accounting system preferred.
- Knowledge of pre-lien and lien processes.
- Ability to create invoices in an AIA format.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a positive attitude under pressure and without supervision to meet contractual deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products; Word Excel, Outlook, etc.
