We are currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the veterinarian during examinations and surgical procedures
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Perform venipuncture and laboratory sample collection
- Place IV catheters
- Monitor patients under anesthesia
- Take radiographs (X-rays) as directed
- Perform in-house laboratory testing (urinalysis, bloodwork, etc.)
- Prepare, clean, and sanitize exam rooms and equipment
- Assist with patient restraint, grooming, and bathing as needed
Qualifications
- RVT license or minimum 1 year of experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital preferred
- Experience with radiographs, blood draws, restraint, and anesthesia monitoring
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and professional demeanor with clients and patients
