REM is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Electronics Assemblers for a growing company in the Manheim area . This role is responsible for assembling and testing electronic and mechanical products according to documented procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment using hand tools and basic electronic or pneumatic equipment.
Currently hiring for all shifts! (2nd & 3rd shift receive a $1 shift differential)
1st Shift: 6:30am-3pm
2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm
3rd Shift: 10pm-6:30am
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and mechanical products and subassemblies using hand tools, electronic tools, and pneumatic tools
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
- Perform bench-level assembly processes accurately and efficiently
- Conduct in-line go/no-go testing and inspections using electronic test equipment
- Identify, adjust, or replace defective electrical or electronic components to meet specifications
- Communicate with engineers, technicians, and manufacturing team members to ensure successful assembly completion
- Rotate between different assembly areas as needed
- Complete assigned production tasks according to manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
- Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
- Participate in continuous improvement and workspace organization initiatives
- Report defective materials, safety concerns, or quality issues to the supervisor
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience: Relevant wiring and assembly experience
Technical Skills
- Ability to use hand tools and basic electronic or pneumatic tools
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and simple blueprints
Communication Skills
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, memos, and documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Math Skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to follow instructions and resolve routine issues
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift
- Ability to reach, bend, and perform repetitive hand movements
- Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity required
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Ability to remain alert and work safely at all times
