The Sour is looking for a hardworking, reliable team member to join our kitchen staff. This position plays a critical role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by assisting with food preparation, cooking, dishwashing, cleaning, and general kitchen support.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and understands that every position in the kitchen contributes to the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for daily production and service
- Assist with cooking breakfast and lunch menu items
- Wash dishes, utensils, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen
- Receive and properly store deliveries
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist bakers and cooks with various kitchen tasks as needed
- Keep prep stations stocked and organized
- Take initiative to help wherever needed during busy periods
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to work as part of a team

Schedule
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Typical shifts may range from early morning prep to afternoon and evening kitchen cleaning and closing duties
- Weekend availability is required
- Additional hours may be available during busy seasons and special events
