Overview:
The Associate is responsible for assisting in addressing employee complaints, conducting investigations on non-compliance with employment law issues, preparing meeting minutes and investigation reports, liaising with stakeholders and/or legal counsels, and spearheading Women Employee Resources Group (WERG) initiatives, along with other assignments on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities:
Employee Relations

Spearhead, coordinate and facilitate assigned investigations to resolve any employee related complaints or concerns and report to the department’s management when necessary.

Conduct or participate in investigating, reviewing, analyzing, and recommending solutions for employee related issues.

Prepare for investigations, including writing and finalizing meeting minutes and scripts, liaising between relevant parties, and preparing warning letters.

Initiate meetings or conversations with outside counsel, relevant counterparties, and/or General Counsel.

Review relevant department’s disciplinary action form for Head Office and report investigation related information as necessary.

Support Employee Morale Enhancement Program and Women Employee Resources Group.

Spearhead and coordinate employee morale related initiatives (e.g. trainings, Demographic Survey, Employee Resource Groups, etc.)

Initiate meetings or conversations with outside counsel to ensure compliance with labor law.

Participate and coordinate Bank-wide projects on an as needed basis

Participate and coordinate on departmental ad-hoc projects on an as needed basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.

Knowledge or experience in HR related field is required.

Minimum 3 years of work experience required for the Associate level; Minimum 4 years of work experience required for the AVP level.

Knowledge of Employment law/EEOC requirements, Financial/ Banking Industry, Employment Benefit and Compensation, Training & Development Processes required.

SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP/SPHR/PHR/other HR certifications preferred.
Pay Range
Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
