Fountain Builder & Installation Specialist

Position Overview
As a Fountain Builder & Installation Specialist, you'll be responsible for building, assembling, waterproofing, installing, and testing custom antique limestone fountains at our garden center and on client job sites. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, physically active, and enjoys a variety of hands-on work.
In addition to fountain installations, you'll help maintain our outdoor showroom by caring for plants, organizing displays, and moving antique stone and vintage furniture as needed.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom limestone fountains
- Install pumps, plumbing, and fountain components
- Waterproof basins and prepare fountain systems
- Test, troubleshoot, and fine-tune water flow
- Safely move and handle valuable antique limestone pieces
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
- Perform on-site installations at residential and commercial properties
- Conduct final walkthroughs with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Help maintain the appearance of our garden center and outdoor displays
- Water plants and assist with basic garden care
- Rearrange and move heavy vintage furniture, planters, and décor throughout the yard
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with other warehouse and yard projects as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, masonry, fountain installation, irrigation, plumbing, or a similar hands-on trade
- Comfortable using power tools and basic plumbing equipment
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to safely lift and move heavy stone, furniture, and décor throughout the day
- Basic knowledge of plants and willingness to help water and maintain garden displays
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and professional when interacting with clients
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Experience
- Masonry or stone installation
- Irrigation or pond systems
- Finish carpentry
- Equipment operation (forklift, skid steer, etc.)
- Landscaping or nursery experience
- Experience working with antique materials or luxury home installations
