We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Engineer II (Structural) to join our engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. - Perform structural engineering design and analysis for a variety of projects including commercial and infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Review and approve structural plans and documents prepared by junior engineers and drafters.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices in structural engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Structural Engineering required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
- Proficiency with structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations (IBC, ACI, AISC, ASCE).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
