- Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative breakfast options that appeal to diverse tastes and dietary needs.
- Manage food production efficiently during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders without compromising quality.
- Handle food handling responsibilities with care, adhering to proper techniques for poaching, braising, grilling, and food presentation.
- Maintain high standards of food safety management and sanitation throughout all kitchen areas.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and support catering or special event preparations when needed.
Skills
- Extensive dietary department experience and dietary aide background are highly desirable.
- Proven culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant settings, demonstrating mastery of food preparation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations.
- Skilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and high-volume production environments.
- Proficient in various cooking methods including poaching, braising, grilling, and general food production.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food presentation.
- Experience with catering services and serving large groups efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
