What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and observe unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns according to site-specific protocols.

Support campus operations by documenting daily activities, completing incident reports, and communicating clearly with staff, students, visitors, and first responders during routine and emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
