What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cath Lab setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Perform patient assessments, document history, symptoms, and care provided accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-care instructions
- Manage contingencies and respond to emergent situations with professionalism and expertise
- Meet all organizational and clinical competency requirements
What You Need
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
- RN license in Texas or an active compact license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a critical care or Cath Lab setting preferred; new graduates accepted
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication skills
About the Assignment
This position is in a dynamic clinical environment focused on cardiac catheterization procedures and patient care. The RN will support the Cath Lab team by providing routine and complex nursing care, managing patient contingencies, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
