- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM when scheduled
- Weekends: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM when scheduled
- Must be available to work scheduled weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, clothing, and other textiles according to established procedures
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning machines such as dry cleaning units when applicable
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Ensure proper handling of delicate or specialty items requiring specific cleaning techniques
- Follow safety protocols and infection control guidelines to prevent contamination or accidents
- Keep accurate records of laundry loads processed and supplies used
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors when restocking is needed
Requirements
- Prior experience with laundry operations or cleaning services is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of laundry procedures including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow safety guidelines diligently
