Selah Covenant Church (SCC) is looking for a teachers aide who is passionate in their relationship with Jesus Christ, growing in their faith, and who desire to use the gifts that God has given them to love, teach, and disciple children to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Agapeland Teachers Aid must be caring, dependable, and enthusiastic about both spiritual and academic growth. They should demonstrate strong communication skills with children, parents, and fellow staff, and be encouraging, patient, and creative in their approach to learning. Teachers Aide should be organized, willing to work as part of a team, and committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Partnering with parents, leaders, and volunteers, Agapeland teachers and aides help to create an intentional space that nurtures spiritual curiosity and lays down the foundations for both school readiness and spiritual formation.
A background in early childhood education or teaching experience is preferred.
This job description is an extension of the employee contract, and may be modified with each annual review.
The primary responsibility will be to educate our students as an Teachers Aide. This position works 4 hours a working day, at the rate of $18/hour. Agapeland Teachers Aide are expected to be present on a regular basis. You will also be involved in implementing the Vision and direction of the church, as a ministry of Selah Covenant. This position is supervised by the Agapeland Director.
Agapeland Teachers Aide serve as spiritual guides and educators, helping children grow both academically and spiritually.
