On the search for kitchen team member
We're looking for 2 people or 1 person who can do both!
We're looking for someone who's been in the kitchen, worked in kitchens and has experience, we're not looking for a manager, but someone who's well rounded and can work in a kitchen in the busy times and someone who has experience
We're looking for someone who can across 2 kitchens in Birchwood. One kitchen is a pizzeria with pastas, burgers and prime rib. The other is a grill with burgers, apps, salads and more.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Part-time (Full-time opportunities as traffic permits)
- Schedule: 12–24 hours per week over 3–4 days
- Shifts Available: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Pay: Starting at $20.00/hr
Things you'll do...
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Monitor food quality and ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection
- Prepare ingredients such as dough, sauces, and toppings
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, and slicers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Work with other cooks on a team - No solo acts here
About you...
- You're attitude is great, you're professional, check your issues at the door when you get here and love to kill tickets.
- You're hard working, if its slow you'll find something to do
- Team player
- Previous experience as a Grill Cook or in a similar role in the food industry
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils used in pizza preparation
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating cooking times
- Must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays (Weekends)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
