We are looking for one (1) Program Assistant - On Call to serve our Siskiyou Village, Yreka, CA. Under direct supervision of the Program Manager, the position's primary responsibilities are to provide and coordinate program related functions to assist the Program Manager and case managers with program issues.
Hours vary between 5-10 hours a week based on business needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assisting with clerical tasks;
- Compiling, updating, and maintaining files and records;
- Scheduling workshops, trainings, and groups;
- Drafting letters, designing flyers, and writing summation reports;
- Assisting Program Manager in compiling project evaluation statistical data reports;
- Attending weekly support staff meetings;
- Entering data for the program’s Management Information System;
- Providing transportation;
- Maintaining a clear, safe, and welcoming environment, including restroom and common area upkeep.
- Answering the telephone and relaying messages to appropriate persons;
- Providing assistance to higher level positions for special and routine projects;
- Performing related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent degree. Two years’ relevant experience.
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Working conditions are typical health clinic settings; involving the potential for high stress levels and exposure to hostile situations; some non-standard work hours may be required.
- Must work with a clinically challenging client population; must be able to maintain professional composure and clinical effectiveness.
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 30lbs
