Chicago Pediatric Therapy & Wellness Center is a therapist-owned, pediatric therapy practice that provides physical, occupational, speech and behavioral therapy services. We are located at 1739 N Elston Avenue and are currently looking for a full time, Patient Care Coordinator who has excellent communication skills and would thrive working in a family centered facility. Experience with scheduling services is preferred for this position. You must have excellent communication skills, professionalism, and organizational abilities. The coordinator should be a team player, who has the ability to multitask and stay organized while being highly energetic, personable, motivated and smart. Spanish speaking is a highly preferred skill.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with therapists to monitor schedules and changes
- Provide excellent customer service to clients in a professional manner
- Verifies insurance benefits with multiple insurance companies, while working with billing department
- Collects patient co-pays and monthly payments as needed
- Establishes great working relationship with team and therapists
- Ensures all correspondence and documentation is filed accordingly
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Performs organizational and other administrative tasks as needed
- Assists with organization around the Center and the Academy
