Make a difference every day as a School-based Occupational Therapist in a dynamic educational setting near Santa Clarita, CA! This full-time, onsite position spans the entire school year, where you’ll impact student success and growth. You’ll join a collaborative environment, serving a minimum caseload of 40 students across multiple school sites.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Experience in school-based OT practice preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Proficiency in IEP documentation and delivering therapeutic interventions
- Ability to adapt to multiple campuses and diverse student populations
- Commitment to providing onsite services only (no virtual/VOCO options)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to a diverse caseload across various school locations
- Assess, develop, and implement intervention plans to support students’ educational goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Complete documentation, progress monitoring, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide support and education to staff and parents regarding OT strategies in the classroom
- Attend required trainings, maintain licensure, and adhere to professional ethics and district policies
