We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and dedicated Veterinary technician to join our team as soon as possible for a long term/permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience caring for animals and working with veterinary physicians, and must be able to work productively on their own or as part of a medical team. This position requires the ability to follow instructions and work independently, excellence in customer service, the capacity to work with a wide variety of animals and knowledge of animal anatomy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine veterinary procedures
- Monitor the health of animals under their care
- Interact with clients
- Operate machinery and diagnostic equipment used in veterinary work
- Restrain animals during treatment
- Communicate with the veterinarian on patients' conditions
