As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations and support the company’s continued financial success. Position Summary
The Accounting Department Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the accounting operations team, ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing while developing employees, improving processes, and maintaining departmental performance. This role provides operational leadership across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable while supporting the Controller with month-end close activities, internal controls, and departmental initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities
Department Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and develop accounting staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and establish employee development plans.
- Monitor daily workloads and adjust priorities as needed.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Operational Oversight
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations.
- Ensure invoices, payments, collections, and cash applications are processed accurately and timely.
- Review aging reports and collection activities.
- Monitor vendor payment schedules and cash flow impacts.
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and implement workflow improvements.
- Maintain and improve department SOPs.
- Lead automation initiatives, including ERP and Bill.com enhancements.
- Coordinate cross-training within the department.
Financial Support
- Assist with month-end close activities.
- Review reconciliations prepared by staff.
- Support audit requests.
- Monitor compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- ERP experience.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Microsoft Office & Tools knowledge.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
