Taylor Truck Line Inc., a well-established leader in the transportation industry, is seeking experienced Trailer Technicians to join our team in the Northfield, MN area.
This role is ideal for skilled technicians who can work independently, take ownership of their work, and confidently diagnose and repair equipment with minimal supervision.
Schedule
· Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Independently diagnose, inspect, and repair trailer equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety
- Mobile Technician: Travel to customer and drop lot locations to perform on-site and roadside repairs returning to Northfield to end every shift.
- Accurately document inspections, services, and repairs
- Keep shop truck, tools and equipment in proper working condition
- Stay current on industry standards, safety regulations, and technical updates
- Yard maintenance and Shop work if time allows
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a trailer or heavy equipment technician required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and air brake systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver’s license required (for Mobile Technician role)
- Own tools/toolbox preferred
