Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering questions about our beverage selection
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Restock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the store is tidy and visually appealing through effective merchandising and stocking practices
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries over the phone
- Promote a safe shopping environment by adhering to store policies and assisting with age verification procedures
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in liquor stores is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and courteously
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
