Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Lunch Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Wardroom. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and has a passion for precision, creativity, and teamwork.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Execution
- Prepare and execute menu items with consistency and attention to detail
- Manage assigned stations (grill, sauté, pasta, or pantry) during lunch service
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service flow
Quality & Presentation
- Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality
- Plate dishes with care, maintaining our aesthetic standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
Leadership & Team Support
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Support adherence to kitchen procedures and safety standards
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a line cook or in a comparable role
- Skills: Strong knife skills, knowledge of cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Passion: Dedication to quality, consistency, and culinary excellence
- Team Player: Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a high-energy kitchen
