CIH Properties, Inc. is looking for highly motivated, talented, responsible and experienced individuals to join our residential Property Management team!* We are looking to fill Maintenance Technician positions at properties located in Southeast DC, Fort Dupont Park neighborhood,* in a large garden style apartment community. The interview process includes an exam to assess your maintenance work experience.
Qualifications:
- Requires 3 years of work experience with Boilers & Hot Water tank repairs
- Requires 3 years of work experience with Carpentry
- Requires 3 years of work experience with Electrical & Plumbing
- Requires 3 years of work experience with Appliance Repair
- Requires 3 years of work experience completing apartment turnovers.
- Must have available transportation
- Must have the ability to work overtime and requires on call duties.
- Fast paced environment that requires ability to effectively multi-task and efficiently self-manage time for assignments.
- Needs a “Can Do” and “Team Player” attitude!
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair boiler, electrical, and plumbing issues in apartment units.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on various systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose appliance failures and resolve issues to work properly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance projects effectively and satisfactorily close out work tickets.
