Position Overview:
Responsible for preparing accurate monthly financial statements for a portfolio of properties, performing bank reconciliations, supporting audits, and assisting with various accounting tasks as assigned by the Vice President of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned properties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits, including gathering documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Maintain general ledger activity and support journal entry preparation.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure proper documentation and controls are in place.
- Work closely with property managers and other internal departments to gather financial data and resolve accounting issues.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and complete special projects as assigned by the VP of Finance.
- Support compliance with internal accounting policies and external financial regulations.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
