As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control needs, assist guests and staff with professionalism, and deliver strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including storefronts, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter access points.

Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access to help deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns within the location.

Assist with access control, crowd flow, and closing procedures while reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
