We are looking for a hardworking individual experienced in residential and multifamily maintenance. This is a full-time nonexempt position that supports multiple locations to ensure the coordination of services to tenants and day-to-day operations and maintenance of the properties.

Schedule: FULL TIME Mon-Fri. Nights & weekends with on call rotation .

As the Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance, repairs, and minor troubleshooting on building systems. Complete work orders, emergency repairs, and support unit turns
- Performs seasonally appropriate grounds maintenance. (interior & exterior)
- Support inspection readiness, special projects, renovations
- Will travel between sites and work closely with the Maintenance and Property Teams
- additional duties as assigned.
A Successful Candidate will have:
- Light carpentry and diverse handyman level skills (including diagnosing and repairing of leaky faucets/toilets, repair/replace blinds & closet drs, minor sheetrock repair, broken windows/locks, minor caulking and appliance repair etc.)
- General maintenance skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Customer relationship building expertise, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents and to successfully address their needs
- Ability to work well both independently as well as with a larger team
- Resourceful with an eye for detail and quick problem-solving skills.
- 3 + years of residential or related maintenance experience
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully complete background check
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
Additional experience that is a PLUS (but NOT required):
- Experience using: Yardi, AppFolio, Rent Café, and other industry software welcomed.
- Bilingual
