Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Counselor Supervisor to lead our Residential Services program. In this vital role, you will provide clinical supervision of direct care staff and clinical intervention and case management for patients diagnosed with chemical dependency and/or co-occurring chemical dependency and psychiatric disorders.
Responsibilities

- Provide clinical assistance and guidance, acting as a resource for direct care staff regarding program procedures, as well as providing crisis intervention when needed.
- Provide direct supervision and coordination of direct care staff, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Facilitate clinical staffing and team meetings.
- Facilitate patient intake and admissions and assign a primary counselor.
- Monitor the status of patient fee payments, patient employment activities, and phase-ups.
- Develop a weekly group schedule and/or provide individual, group, and family counseling as necessary.
- Ensure contract compliance, including monitoring patient files for QA, assisting with agency audits as needed, and submitting reports as required.
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations; develop and implement treatment plans for clients; provide case management services as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain clinical records, to include review of direct care staff records.
- Make referrals to appropriate resource agencies and provide feedback to those agencies.
- Assist internal staff, courts, and probation officers in monitoring furlough requests and discharge proposals.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a related field of study, preferably in a Human Services discipline, and at least 2-4 years of experience in a related field, preferably supervisory experience.
- Valid and active State of Florida clinical license in one of the following: LMHC, LCSW, LMFT.
- Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred to meet the needs of a diverse population, but it is not required.
- Computer knowledge should include proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Teams) and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs). An employee may be responsible for other miscellaneous administrative duties.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak effectively. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
- Knowledge of the 12-step program, behavior modification, case management, and addiction.
Pay: From $62,857.45 per year
