Overview
Comprehensive Wellness Centers, LLC, a growing primary mental health and substance abuse facility, is seeking a qualified Full time LPN or RN to join our dedicated team. We are a residential, mental health facility. The Staff Nurse will provide direct nursing care while offering physical and psychological support when needed. We’re a team-oriented organization that values collaboration, professionalism, and mutual respect. Our nurses take pride in their work, support one another, and understand that great patient care happens when everyone—clinical and non-clinical—works together. We are looking for nurses with strong mental health experience who are ready to step in and help us meet the needs of our clients.
Shifts Available: Monday through Friday 3pm - 11pm
Qualifications
- A passion for behavioral/mental health
- License to practice nursing in the state of Florida
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Can pass a Level 2 background check
- Works and communicates well with the team
- Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of nursing
- Experience in mental health settings preferred
- Strong assessment, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Demonstrates empathy and understanding of patient needs
- Ability to gather and record client data specific to current and past medical status
- Strong observational and listening skills
- Ability to form a therapeutic relationship with clients and their families
Responsibilities
- Conduct nursing assessments
- Collaborate with Behavioral Health Technicians to provide safe, effective care
- Provide routine nursing care
- Pass medication and monitor client vitals
- Review medication logs and ensure compliance
- Assist in overseeing medical and psychiatric management in coordination with attending physicians
- Must work well in a team oriented environment
- Timely Documentation
- Ensure the safety of clients at all times
- Attend monthly staff meetings
