Front Office & Social Media Associate – Full Time
Highland Marina is looking for a friendly, dependable, and outgoing person to join our team full-time in the front office.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with customers, is comfortable on the phone and computer, and has a good understanding of social media. We are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service while also helping us keep our social media pages active and engaging.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions
- Make and manage reservations for cabins, campsites, boat slips, and other marina services
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Check guests in and out
- Process payments and handle basic front-office transactions
- Respond to customer messages and inquiries
- Create and post content to Facebook and other social media platforms
- Take photos and videos around the marina for social media
- Promote marina events, specials, cabins, camping, boat slips, and other services
- Help keep the front office organized and presentable
- Work with management and other employees to make sure customers have a great experience
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with customers
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Reliable and able to show up to work on time
- Comfortable using computers and learning reservation software
- Experience with Facebook and social media
- Able to take good photos/videos and create engaging posts
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Able to multitask in a busy environment
- Willing to help wherever needed
- Previous customer service, hospitality, office, or social media experience is a plus
This is a full-time position.
