Driving both bobtail dump trucks and semi trucks with belly dump trailers hauling materials to construction sites and/or low boy trailer hauling equipment. When not driving a truck, employee will be expected to help run equipment or any other duties needed at the time on a project.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer trucks, dump trucks, or lowboys.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Transport heavy machinery and construction materials to various job sites.
Keep trucks clean and well-maintained, notifying the supervisor or mechanic I repairs are needed.
Qualifications
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
Verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
A clean MVR.
Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
Must be able to climb in/out of the cab frequently and lift up to 50 lbs.
Punctuality is a must.
