On-the-job and formal training will be provided, but some cleaning & restoration experience is preferred. - Must be able to manage time effectively to clean a building thoroughly according to the tasking list and schedule in order to move on to the next location in a timely manner.
- Valid CA Driver's License is preferred, own car preferred/reliable transportation required.
- Experience driving a company vehicle a plus! Must have clean driving record.
- Please note that while Blue Moon does not have a COVID-19 vaccination requirement, many of our clients and/or locations we service do require proof of vaccination and/or COVID-19 testing requirements.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a PLUS, but not necessary - MUST SPEAK, READ, & WRITE ENGLISH
- Work authorization: United States (Required)
Responsibilities
- Work alongside other trained and dedicated Blue Moon professionals performing building and facility cleaning and maintenance in homes, offices, industrial facilities, exterior grounds, and more!
- Reliable transportation is a must to be able to get to these locations and any other client locations that may arise.
- Some shifts may require traveling or cleaning multiple locations (one location to the next) and/or buildings.
- Training consist of both at our office in North Hollywood and on-site with a crew at various locations.
- Performing routine janitorial cleaning and facility maintenance, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning. Other duties may include exterior pressure washing, floor maintenance including buffing and polishing, window cleaning, COVID-19 preventative disinfection, and other related tasks.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- CMI: ISSA is a PLUS but not required
- IICRC is a PLUS but not required
- Asbestos Certification is a PLUS but not a requirement
- Carpet Cleaning Experience is a PLUS but not a requirement
- Stone and Tile Cleaning Experience is a PLUS but not a requirement
Flexible Work Arrangements:
You have the option to work full-time, part-time, or by assignment. Full-time employees generally average 40 hours per week or more after completing have completing a paid training program. Part-time means that you will have a regular schedule and work no more than 32 hours weekly. By assignment means that you will accept or decline assignments as you see fit, with some restrictions of course, similar to how a subcontractor works but with the reassurance of being paid every two weeks on payroll.
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (Preferred)
- Night Shift (Required)
- Overnight Shift (Preferred)
- Shifts can range from 8 hours to 12 hours
- Shifts are typically Monday to Friday.
- On-call or weekend shifts available

- Assignment location(s) in the Greater Los Angeles Area including: Pasadena, Santa Clarita, El Segundo, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Venice, Metro LA, etc.
