What can you Expect as a Lactation Support Specialist?
The Lactation Support Specialist provides optimal breastfeeding support under the supervision of an IBCLC experienced Lactation staff member.
Responsibilities:

Act as a lactation support person and resource for patients and their families under the supervision of the Lactation Consultant.

Understanding and coordinating of associated lactation equipment.

Provides information on additional breastfeeding resources to family.

Provide support and engagement throughout the phases of the lactation journey.

Maintain accurate and legible patient care records.
