St. Gregory the Great Catholic Parish in Virginia Beach, a large and diverse parish is seeking a part-time
COORDINATOR OF YOUTH MINISTRY
The Coordinator of Youth collaborates with the Director of Religious Education to provide vision and coordination for the parish’s efforts in ministry to young people from middle school through 12th grades and works with the Coordinator of Young Adult Ministry to provide support and ministry back-up. This includes high school religious education (weekly), monthly activities, OCIA adapted for teens, Confirmation, retreats, and service activities, as well as working with the CRE K-8 to connect with the middle school youth.
Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
Would prefer a bachelor’s degree, and some experience in ministry or evangelization.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Lifting may be required (30 pounds).
Job Grade: MA-2
Pay Grade Scales: Pay Grade
This position is classified as an MA-2 position $19.68 - $24.60 per hour based on education and experience. Some benefits apply.
