Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to create a welcoming shopping atmosphere
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrate features, and highlight benefits through engaging demos
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell related products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Support supervising staff with training new team members and overseeing daily operations when needed
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers effectively
- Experience supervising or mentoring team members is preferred
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stocking procedures, and grocery store operations is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts or totals
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay & Employment Type:
- W-2 employee position
- Hourly pay vs commission structure
- Weekly pay
- Representatives receive the higher amount between hourly earnings or commission each week
- Average weekly earnings: $800–$1,200, depending on individual performance.
