Overview
We seek a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports for management. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, a passion for accuracy, and a proactive approach to financial management.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry, journal entries, check writing, online payments, filing, and account reconciliations using QuickBooks Online.
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Maintain general ledger accounting records in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and organizational policies
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements to support management decision-making and compliance requirements
- Assist with budgeting processes and monitor financial transactions to ensure adherence to budgets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online).
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP), governmental accounting (if applicable), and double-entry bookkeeping methods
- Familiarity with financial concepts including general ledger accounting, account analysis, account reconciliation, and budget monitoring
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with inventory processes and documentation.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
