Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Safety Manager will lead and continuously improve the company’s safety culture, compliance programs, and field safety operations across active construction projects nationwide.
This individual will serve as the primary safety leader for the organization, partnering closely with operations and field leadership to ensure safe work practices, regulatory compliance, accident prevention, and ongoing safety training initiatives. The role will be highly visible throughout the organization and will play a key role in driving accountability, reducing incidents, and supporting successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company-wide construction safety program across active jobsites
- Conduct regular jobsite safety audits, inspections, and field training
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other applicable regulations
- Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and site-specific safety plans
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root cause and implement corrective actions
- Partner with operations and project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate jobsite risks
- Coordinate required safety certifications, training programs, and compliance documentation
- Support field operations related to scaffolding safety, material handling, logistics, and equipment utilization
- Track and report safety performance metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives
- Assist in maintaining strong client relationships through safe and professional project execution
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
