This is in-person, five days a week, 9 to 5, at our office in East Downtown Houston. This is not a remote or hybrid role. It is, however, a rare chance to get your foot in the door at one of the fastest-growing family law firms in Texas and build something real from it.

AFTA is a Texas family law firm with offices in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin. We were founded by Gianni Avalos, the attorney behind Single Mom Attorney, one of the largest legal-education platforms for women navigating family law. WHAT THE DAYS LOOK LIKE
No two are the same, but here's the kind of thing that fills them: You organize exhibit folders/supplies for paralegals. You keep the kitchen and office stocked, clean, and polished. You grab lunch and coffee for the attorneys when they're buried in a case. You handle mail, filing, scanning, copying, and the clerical work that keeps the firm moving. You greet and settle clients when they arrive, and you make the office feel like the brand they already trust. You run errands and handle personal support for leadership when needed. You help coordinate events when the firm hosts or attends them. You manage our cleaning crew and vendors, and you build the systems and scheduling around them so the whole place runs without anyone having to think about it. And when your list is done, you look for what's next. That instinct is the whole job, and it's exactly why the right person thrives here.

THE NUMBERS
- Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 depending on experience
