Job Summary
Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative, where your energetic and compassionate approach will create a welcoming environment for pet owners and their beloved animals. Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and check patients in/out in a warm, professional manner
- Answer multi-line phones and respond to emails/text communications
- Schedule appointments and manage daily appointment flow
- Collect and process payments, issue invoices, and explain estimates
- Maintain accurate patient records and update client information
- Coordinate communication between veterinarians, technicians, and clients
- Handle medication refill requests and relay medical questions appropriately
- Support a smooth front desk workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Provide compassionate communication during sensitive or emergency situations
- Maintain a welcoming and clean hospital lobby
Qualifications
- Previous experience in veterinary reception, medical front desk, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a busy, multitasking environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy with records and payments
- Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure and high emotion
- Basic computer skills (practice management software experience a plus)
- Genuine love of animals and empathy for pet owners
