Our precast concrete manufacturing plant is looking for a reliable and industrious Bed Utility Operator to join our team. You will play a vital role in the entire production cycle, from initial form preparation and rebar installation to the final pouring and finishing of concrete components. Please note that this role requires the ability to perform strenuous physical tasks in an outdoor setting.
Core Duties

Install and secure rebar in alignment with project blueprints

Prepare, clean, and lubricate concrete forms and casting beds

Support the team during the pouring, leveling, and finishing of concrete

Position necessary embeds, reinforcements, and inserts into the forms

Remove finished products from molds and strip forms

Utilize various hand and power tools in a secure manner

Help move materials and finished goods across the yard to improve workflow

Execute general labor tasks to ensure production goals are met

Contribute to a tidy and hazard-free workspace

Uphold all quality and safety protocols to ensure a high standard of work
Qualifications

Prior background in concrete work or rebar installation is advantageous

Proficiency in interpreting production diagrams and using a tape measure

Capacity to consistently lift over 50 pounds during your shift

Willingness to work outside regardless of changing weather patterns

Prior exposure to manufacturing, construction, or fabrication environments is beneficial

Dependable transportation and a consistent attendance record are mandatory

Physical stamina to remain standing, bending, or climbing while working for long durations
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, including overtime opportunities.
