Cannabis Roller & Prep PersonnelPosition Summary
The Cannabis Roller & Prep Personnel is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, rolling, packaging, and organizing cannabis products in accordance with company standards, applicable regulations, and established production procedures. This position requires strong attention to detail, consistency, cleanliness, and the ability to work effectively in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cannabis flower and other approved materials for production.
- Roll and assemble pre-roll products according to established specifications.
- Weigh and portion cannabis accurately using calibrated equipment.
- Inspect products for quality, consistency, appearance, and proper assembly.
- Prepare materials and workstations before production runs.
- Package, label, and organize finished products according to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
- Follow sanitation, hygiene, and contamination-prevention procedures.
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and production equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and cannabis compliance requirements.
- Identify and report product defects, equipment issues, or discrepancies to management.
- Meet established production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform other production and preparation duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must meet all applicable state and local requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
- Previous cannabis production, manufacturing, packaging, or pre-roll experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable working in a regulated production environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
- Ability to lift and move production materials as required.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
Work Environment
This position is performed in a regulated cannabis production facility. Employees are expected to follow all applicable health, safety, sanitation, security, and compliance procedures.
