NEED - Awake Night Staff, 8pm-8am. $18.00 minimum starting
NEED - 24 hour Live in Staff, week on week off position. $260.00 per day
NEED - Supported Living/ Day Hab Staff, $20.00 minimum starting
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with varying needs in a group home or assisted living setting. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through patient care, monitoring, and engagement in daily activities.
Duties
As a Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as prompting to complete tasks like hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Providing patient monitoring to ensure safety and well-being at all times.
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Supporting individuals with daily care needs.
- Appointments as needed.
- Community outings.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, guardians, management, and family members to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
- Administering CPR and first aid as necessary in emergency situations.
- Upholding a clean and safe environment within the home or facility.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in a group home, assisted living, Supported Living, Day Hab, or home care setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and client care practices.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
- Certification in CPR & 1st Aid is highly desirable.
-Pass a SOA background check.
- A compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
