Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas
- Handle cleaning chemicals and agents safely following established chemical handling safety procedures
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners to ensure optimal floor care and sanitation
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and other custodial techniques to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities, including heavy lifting and manual handling practices
- Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed, including specialized sanitation or custodial services
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper chemical handling safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and other custodial tools effectively
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
