Job Description:
Pleasant Meadows Senior Living is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! As a Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents by performing general maintenance and repairs across our facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of buildings and grounds.
- Ensure that all equipment and systems are in safe, working order.
- Address minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
- Respond to on-call repair needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and general upkeep of the facility.
- Help with snow removal and spreading salt in walkway areas.
Requirements:
- Proven handyman skills and general knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks promptly.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
