Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher and Cleaner to join our vibrant smoothie shop team! This role is integral to maintaining the impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards of our establishment. As the backbone of our kitchen's cleanliness, the Dishwasher and Cleaner position requires a hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to providing excellent service and delicious, healthy options to our community.
Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly wash and clean all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the shop, including the kitchen, dining area, counters, and restrooms.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled, ensuring that the shop meets health and safety standards.
- Assist in restocking supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Support juice staff by preparing basic ingredients for juice/smoothie preparation.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables properly, following local sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure a seamless service experience for our customers.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures in the workplace.
Qualifications:
- No previous experience required; however, a background in a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to stand for 3 hour period and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a team player mindset.
