Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Compounder / Batcher / Mixer to join our manufacturing team in Indianapolis, IN. This position is responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, mixing, and processing raw materials according to established formulas, batch records, and manufacturing procedures.
The ideal candidate has experience in a cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, chemical, food/beverage, or similar batch manufacturing environment and is comfortable working with production equipment, raw materials, and detailed manufacturing documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Weigh, measure, and dispense raw materials according to approved formulas and batch specifications.
- Operate mixing, blending, batching, and compounding equipment.
- Follow batch records, SOPs, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
- Monitor mixing times, temperatures, weights, and other processing parameters.
- Verify raw materials and quantities before beginning production batches.
- Perform calculations and adjustments required during the batching process.
- Complete batch documentation accurately and in accordance with quality requirements.
- Inspect equipment before use and report mechanical or quality issues.
- Perform equipment cleaning and sanitation between batches according to established procedures.
- Follow GMP, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams.
- Assist with troubleshooting batch discrepancies and production issues.
- Safely handle raw materials and chemicals using required PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing
