About the Role

Kanga’s Guest Experience Team Members are cross-trained and may rotate between guest check-in, café service, birthday parties, play-area supervision, attraction operations, retail, cleaning, and other facility needs.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests, answer questions, verify waivers and wristbands, and process admissions and purchases
- Provide friendly and attentive service throughout the guest’s visit
- Take café orders, serve food and drinks, restock supplies, and follow food-safety procedures
- Prepare, host, and reset birthday parties and special events
- Monitor play areas and reinforce attraction and facility safety rules
- Track the attraction schedule and operate staff-assisted attractions, including The Voyager and Summit Climb, safely and on time
- Assist guests with attraction instructions, queues, harnesses, and loading after completing required training
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, party rooms, café areas, play surfaces, restrooms, and other assigned areas
- Assist with opening, closing, stocking, inventory, and facility checklists
- Report injuries, hazards, damaged equipment, guest concerns, and maintenance issues immediately
- Support teammates and rotate between assignments based on business needs

- Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks as needed
Experience
Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, retail, childcare, camps, recreation, attractions, or birthday parties is helpful but not required. A great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are most important.
Requirements
- Must meet the minimum age requirements for assigned duties and equipment
- Must complete required attraction and safety training
- Must obtain a Texas Food Handler certification within the required timeframe
- Must successfully complete any job-related screening required for the position
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
- The position may require standing and walking for most of the shift; bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling; repeated cleaning; and lifting or carrying items weighing up to approximately 40–50 pounds
